Juan Baldana
Biography
Argentine director, writer, and producer with extensive experience in audiovisual storytelling. He spent 20 years at Torneos y Competencias, during its peak as the most influential sports production company in Latin America, where he rose through different roles until becoming Creative Director. There, he led the creative vision for multiple TV networks and the iconic program Fútbol de Primera, as well as producing coverage for several FIFA World Cups, shaping a style that defined an era.
In parallel to his work in advertising and music videos, he developed an author-driven career in documentaries, series, and feature films, with premieres at international festivals and global platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, and Flow. His work blends social insight, sports epic, and philosophical explorations, always with a powerful visual language and contemporary narrative style.
